Good Fortune Families (GFF) is a supportive community of South Western Ontario families who have adopted children from China, Korea, and Vietnam. We welcome the active participation of all London and area adoptive families with children from Asia, regardless of the age of their children or the adoption agency employed.

GFF organizes information sessions, social gatherings and cultural events for adopted children, their families, and families-in-waiting. We provide access to a local email group, GoodFortuneChat. We also participate in events and activities in our local Asian community.

Best of all we offer the kind of friendship, support, and fun that happens naturally when kids and parents have regular opportunities to meet, talk, and play together.

 

For many years Good Fortune Families has organized Chinese Culture Camp for children.
It is held in the summer and runs every morning
for one week.

At Camp the children enjoy many, hands-on experiences – from cooking traditional Chinese dishes and learning to do math with an abacus to singing traditional Chinese songs and making unique crafts.

The Camp provides a rich learning environment where children can get a small taste of their Chinese heritage.
